Anne Sandefur '06

Anne Sandefur, a professional dancer, is originally from Orlando and graduated from Trinity Prep in 2006. She then attended Duke University, where she received degrees in Social Psychology and Dance. She also received her J.D. from the Charleston School of Law. Her formal training includes dancing with the Orlando Ballet School under the tutelage of Yan Chen and Peter Stark, and with the Orlando Ballet, directed by Fernando Bujones and Bruce Marks. At the finals of Youth America Grand Prix, she placed in the Top Twelve in New York City. She has appeared in “The Lonely Whale,” “Orange is the New Black,” “Manhattan Love Story,” “The Pajama Game,” and “Three Movements.” Recently, Anne debuted with the Suzanne Farrell Ballet, performing in “Stars and Stripes” and “Gounod Symphony.”
