Marc Ambinder '97

Marc Ambinder is a Leadership Fellow at the USC Annenberg School of Journalism at the University of Southern California. His third book, about nuclear brinksmanship in the Reagan administration, will be published by Simon and Schuster later this year.

He has consulted for Fortune 100 companies on topics ranging from communications strategy to speechwriting.

Ambinder spent 12 years in Washington, D.C as a White House correspondent, national security reporter and news analyst for television networks. He was politics editor at the Atlantic and helped the company transform into an innovative digital force for journalism. He has won a number of awards for his journalism and editorial research, including the Silver Baton from Columbia University.

He is a 2001 graduate of Harvard and a 1997 graduate of Trinity Prep, where he served as valedictorian.
