Out of 34 Marshall Scholarship winners announced for 2013, two of them are Trinity Prep graduates!

Katelyn Davidson '09, currently at the United States Naval Academy, will study at Queen’s University Belfast. Jacob Nebel '09, currently at Princeton University, will study at the University of Oxford.

WASHINGTON, DC ALUMNI EVENT
The Trinity Prep Alumni and Development team will be hosting alumni in the DC area for a private night tour of the DC monuments from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Monday, January 14. The tour will include the U.S. Capitol, MLK Memorial, World War II Memorial, Iwo Jima Memorial, White House, and Lincoln Memorial. BEAR GULLY BASH
Join us for the 11th annual Bear Gully Bash. Let’s make it our biggest bash ever! Plan to attend Bear Gully Bash XI and the 6th Annual Chili Cook-off, Friday, March 1, at the Winter Park Country Club. Night golfers will head out a bit earlier, and the clubhouse crowd will be waiting with the party (and chili) when they return. More details to follow…but start finding your foursomes now!

NOMINATIONS FOR THE TPS ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME
In order to properly recognize the outstanding athletes, coaches, and administrators in the history of the interscholastic program at Trinity Prep, the school established the Athletic Hall of Fame. To be eligible for nomination, an athlete must have earned a varsity letter and must have graduated at least ten years prior to selection. The committee will consider athletes primarily on their athletic achievements in high school. The committee will also consider, on a limited basis, the nominee’s achievements on the college or professional level. To be eligible as a coach or athletic director, an individual must have had at least five years of service to Trinity Prep, made a significant impact on the athletic program, and been retired from the position for at least one year. The committee will consider coaches and athletic directors for their achievements in senior high school coaching only. Please complete a nomination form by May 1, 2013.

MONTE CARLO - AN EVENING OF DINING AND DANCING
We are happy to announce that Trinity Tribute XIV, Monte Carlo, will be held at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, on Saturday, March 16, 2013.

The festivities will begin at 7:00 p.m. You will have the opportunity to bid on hundreds of silent auction items. As the evening progresses, the silent auction tables will close and live auction items will be presented between dance sets.

TPS REGIONAL GROUPS
You don’t have to live in Central Florida to stay connected to Trinity Prep. The Alumni Advisory Board is excited to support regional chapters in areas with relatively high concentrations of Trinity Prep alumni. Help keep your local Trinity Prep community strong!

We are seeking volunteers to:

• serve as liaisons between the School and members of your regional group;
• plan events in coordination with Trinity Prep Milestones;
• offer social, educational, and cultural activities for alumni;
• manage your group's social media outreach;
• help recruit members.
