ALUMNI IN THE NEWS
Katelyn Davidson ’09 won the United States Naval Academy’s prestigious Dr. Charles Coates Award for Excellence in Military Sociology.  The recipient of this award is a Midshipman First Class. Katelyn is also a Marshall Scholar and will be attending Cambridge University.

Congratulations to Laura Lacambra Shubert ’82 and Brooke deRosa ’97 who were inducted into Trinity Prep’s Arts Hall of Fame on April 19.

THE ALUMNI CHALLENGE- $20,000 TO REACH OUR GOAL!
There are only two more months in the fiscal year to reach our alumni Trinity Prep Fund goal, and we need your help. We are $20,000 away from our goal of $60,000, which is equivalent to tuition and fees for three students. SCHOOL’S OUT FOR SENIORS
All local alumni are welcome to join our annual School’s Out for Seniors cookout and party for graduating seniors at 12:00 p.m. on Friday May, 17 at the TPS Athletic Fields. Come show the class of 2013 how great our alumni are and welcome them to alumni status.

GOLDEN T CLASSIC
Save the date for the 33rd Annual Golden T Classic golf tournament.  It will be held at The Country Club of Orlando on Monday, October 14. For information regarding sponsorship opportunities, please contact Ashley Johnston.

SUMMER CLASSES AND CAMPS
Registration is now open for summer classes and camps.  Whether you are looking for academic or athletic improvement, an enriching and fun summer experience, a new skill, or a brush up, Trinity’s Summer Program has something for you.

NOMINATIONS FOR THE TPS ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME
In order to properly recognize the outstanding athletes, coaches, and administrators in the history of the interscholastic program at Trinity Prep, the school established the Athletic Hall of Fame. To be eligible for nomination, an athlete must have earned a varsity letter and must have graduated at least ten years prior to selection. The committee will consider athletes primarily on their athletic achievements in high school. The committee will also consider, on a limited basis, the nominee’s achievements on the college or professional level. To be eligible as a coach or athletic director, an individual must have had at least five years of service to Trinity Prep, made a significant impact on the athletic program, and been retired from the position for at least one year. The committee will consider coaches and athletic directors for their achievements in senior high school coaching only. Please complete a nomination form by May 30, 2013.

TPS REGIONAL GROUPS
You don’t have to live in Central Florida to stay connected to Trinity Prep. The Alumni Advisory Board is excited to support regional chapters in areas with relatively high concentrations of Trinity Prep alumni. Help keep your local Trinity Prep community strong!

We are seeking volunteers to:

• serve as liaisons between the School and members of their regional group;
• plan events in coordination with Trinity Prep Milestones;
• offer social, educational, and cultural activities for alumni;
• manage their group's social media outreach;
• help recruit members.
