Meg Donahue '98

Meg Donahue earned varsity letters in cross-country, diving, volleyball, basketball, and softball.

Meg was a versatile athlete who excelled in every sport she played. As an eighth grader, she earned All-Conference honors in cross-country. She was a member of Trinity Prep's inaugural girls varsity basketball team and earned All-County honors in 1997 and 1998 and was the MVP in 1998. Meg was a three-year starter on the varsity volleyball team and was named the most outstanding defensive player her senior year.

Meg was a four-year starting outfielder on the varsity softball team and helped lead the team to a state championship in 1998 and a state runner-up finish in 1996. She was selected to the softball All-State team in 1998 and the All-County team in 1996, 1997, and 1998. During her career, she set the school record for most hits in a season with 54 in 1996.

In 1998, Meg was named Trinity Prep's Female Athlete of the Year and Letterwoman of the Year. She continued her athletic prowess at Clemson University as a member of the rugby team and was named to the All-South and All-National Teams.
