Dr. Nick Pastis '89

Dr. Nick Pastis was a four-year starter on the basketball team and was named to the All-County and All-State teams in his senior year. As a forward, Nick led the team in scoring and rebounding from 1986 to 1989. He was named Trinity Prep's Male Athlete of the Year in 1989. Upon his graduation, Nick held 12 school records, including four that still stand today: most points in a career (1,765), most rebounds in a career (803), average points per game in a career (25.1), and average rebounds per game in a career (12.4).

He continued his athletic achievements in college, starring on Emory University’s basketball team from 1989 to 1993. Nick was a member of the 1,000 point club, team captain his junior and senior years, and leading rebounder his sophomore, junior, and senior years. As a senior, Nick was selected to the All-Conference team and earned Emory University's outstanding sportsmanship award.
