Jennifer Costar Powell '87

Jennifer Costar Powell was a four-year starter on the varsity volleyball and softball teams. Jennifer was a member of the volleyball team from 1983-86 and was one of the top all around players. As captain her senior year, she won the most valuable player award and earned All-Conference in 1986. In softball, she played first base, served as team captain her senior year, and was selected as the most valuable player and named to the All-County team in 1987.

Jennifer was the recipient of the Orlando Sentinel Downtown Athletic Club Scholar-Athlete Award in 1987 and was also named Trinity Prep's Female Athlete of the Year, and Female Letterwoman of the Year for 1987.
