Sarah Schneider Ruppel '03

Sarah Schneider Ruppel earned a total of 10 varsity letters as a member of the volleyball, basketball, and softball teams and was captain of the volleyball and softball teams her senior year.

As a four-year starter on the volleyball team, Sarah helped lead her team to district titles in 2001 and 2002 and set school records for the most digs in a single game with 15, the most in a season with 278, and a career total of 718. She was selected as the FACA District Player of the Year in 2002 and named to the All-State team in 2002 and the All-County team in 2000 and 2001. In softball, where Sarah was also a four-year starter, she helped lead the team to a state championship in 2002 and to district championships in 2000 through 2003.

Sarah continued her athletic volleyball career at the University of Alabama where, as a freshman, she was named to the SEC All-Freshman team. She transferred to Rollins College where she was a defensive standout in volleyball, setting the school record for the most digs in a single game with 34. Sarah returned to Trinity Prep to coach the eighth grade volleyball team and served as the varsity assistant for two years.
