Sam Saunders ’06

Sam earned a total of four varsity letters as a member of our golf team. He was selected to the All-State Team all four of his years on the golf team, from 2003 to 2006. Sam was Individual State Champion in 2004, Individual State Runner-Up in 2005 and 2006, and Individual Regional Champion in 2004, 2005, and 2006.

Sam continued his athletic career at Clemson University, where he lettered from 2007 to 2009. He was First Team All ACC in 2008. After his junior year, Sam turned professional. He played on the Web.com Tour from 2012 to 2014 and the PGA Tour in 2015 and 2016, and he participated in the United States Open in 2011 and 2015.
