Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year.   As I start my eleventh year here at Trinity Prep, I am struck by the fact that time seems to be going faster and faster.  It feels as if in a blink of an eye, another class has graduated.  What our graduates have left behind are remarkable moments and memories.  

Our department offers our students numerous ways to express themselves, and what they accomplish simply amazes me.  The arts can entertain, explore human nature and events, transmit values and ideas, provide an outlet for our feelings, and truly enrich us.  Without art, our lives would be devoid of so much.  As a teacher, I see art transforming our students’ lives daily.  As they “discover their voice” through their particular medium, they  come into their own as independent and strong human beings. 

There is a place for everyone here; I invite all students to jump into the arts and see where the best fit is.  Whether it is on the stage, in an art studio or publishing lab, or backstage helping to “create the magic”, give it a shot; you might find that is where your passion and heart lie! I am looking forward to seeing each and everyone one of you!
