Leadership, Character, and Service

Leadership, character, and service are at the forefront of the Trinity Prep experience. In accordance with our mission and one of our four core values, “our school promotes leadership, ethical behavior, personal responsibility, and reinforces the highest standard of character and honor.” Our philosophy is that leadership and good character must be at the center of everything we do, and these traits can be taught, developed, and reinforced during a student’s secondary school years. This core commitment is partly achieved by capitalizing on opportunities available through various community service endeavors.
We believe the best way of helping students to focus on their own character development is by directing our daily efforts, both in and out of the classroom, towards self-discipline, tolerance, integrity, and service. Although highly encouraged at every level, community service is not a requirement for graduation at Trinity Prep. True service to others is a personal choice and, therefore, should be voluntary. Our students epitomize this philosophy through school clubs and service organizations by volunteering thousands of hours serving the central Florida community and raising several thousand dollars for charities at the local, national, and world-wide level. Each year, we work with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, the Winter Park Boys and Girls Club, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, United Cerebral Palsy, the Lilley House, the Second Harvest Food Bank, and many others.
