Step 1 -- Apply online

If you would like to receive school information contact the admission office at 321-282-2515 or complete an Online Inquiry.

You can also begin an Application for the 2016-2017 School Year. You will be prompted to create an account so that you can save your work and log back in to continue later. Let us know if you have any questions!

Step 2 -- Schedule a test

Schedule an admission exam at  http://www.iseetest.org

All local applicants to grades 6-9 must take an ISEE entrance exam.

PSAT and College SAT scores are acceptable for applicants to grades 10-11.
Trinity Prep's test site and reports to schools code for the ISEE test is 101898.

Out of area applicants may choose to take the SSAT.  Register at http://www.ssat.org
Trinity Prep's test reports code for the SSAT is 7756.

Recommended testing dates offered at TPS:

7th grade: November 14 or December 5, 2015

6th and 8th grade: November 14, December 5, January 9

Upper School applicants should test test no later than February 6, 2016

You may test at any other sites and dates offered in the Orlando area.  Check the ISEE website for information.

What is the ISEE?

The Independent School Entrance Exam measures some of the skills your child has acquired during his or her school years and helps the Admission Committee determine which applicants would be likely to succeed in Trinity Prep's academic enviroment. The test covers math skills, vocabulary, and reading comprehension and includes a writing component. Formal test preparation is not necessary.

Test Score Results: The resulting scores on the ISEE test will not match other national standardized test scores. ISEE test scores will generally be lower than scores on tests like the IOWA, Stanford Achievement Test, etc.  If you have questions or concerns about your child's scores, please contact the Admission Office. A student cannot fail the test, but the ISEE is generally a very good tool in predicting a student's ability to be successful at Trinity Prep.  The admission test is only one consideration for admission, and the committee evaluates all aspects of the applicant's folder.

Step 3 -- Submit recommendations

Send the link below to each of your student's current teachers to complete a recommendation online. The teacher will receive a verification of receipt response from Trinity Prep.

Recommendations are required from a CURRENT English and math teacher and a principal, guidance counselor, or headmaster and should be submitted after the first nine-week grading period.

world language recommendation is required only if a student is taking a full-time, level-one or higher foreign language course.

Extracurricular recommendation forms are also provided and are optional.

Recommendation page: www.trinityprep.org/rec

Step 4 -- Records release

Complete and sign the Transcript Release form and send it to your student's current school after the first 9 week grading period.

Step 5 -- Schedule an interview

A student/parent interview is required for all local families who make application to the school and must be completed by the application deadline. Out-of-the-area applicants may be asked to make an appointment for a Sykpe or telephone interview.

Once you have completed the online application, please call the Admission Office to set up your Student/Parent interview. 321-282-2515.

Families interested in applying for financial aid should do so simultaneously with the school application process.  See the Tuition, Fees, Financial Aid page for more information.

Deadlines for applicants to complete the full five-step process: 7th grade-December 11, 2015.; 6/8th grades-January 15, 2016; Upper School-February 5, 2016. Contact the Admission Office or begin the online application process today.  We hope you plan to apply!
