Trinity Parents' Organization

All Trinity parents automatically belong to the Trinity Parents' Organization (TPO) and pay an annual fee of $40 to support TPO-sponsored programs. There are many leadership opportunities for parents. The nominating committee collects names throughout the year of parents who would like to be considered for a TPO Executive Committee office, or who would like to service as a chairperson of a TPO standing committee. Reimbursement forms can be submitted to the TPO Treasurer for TPO-related expenses.

Meetings

TPO Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at Trinity House at 8 a.m. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Brown-Bag Lunches

TPO hosts a series of informational, brown-bag lunches for each grade, with teachers and administrators addressing various topics of interest to that grade. Parents are invited to bring their own breakfast or lunch, listen to presentations relevant to their students, and have their questions answered.

Parent Volunteer Opportunities

All Grades

Admission Ambassadors

Volunteers help coordinate registration and set-up for all major Admission Office events. They serve as parent ambassadors for Trinity Prep, coordinate mailings, and bake cookies for various student events. Training and detailed instructions are provided as needed.

Alumni and Development Support

Volunteers can provide event support for the Golden T Classic golf tournament, reunion events, and new-parent welcome events, as well as contacting their peers for the Trinity Prep Fund.

Auction

Assist with the biennial gala and auction. This year's theme is Havana Nights.

Bloomingdale's Shopping Day

Volunteers help coordinate the shopping day and cover a shift at the store of one to two hours. Shadow event chairs are also needed.

Volunteers provide food and support for two luncheons for faculty and staff.

Just before Christmas, TPO sponsors “Dickens Day” for middle school. Seventh grade parents decorate the DAC, turning it into a Victorian village, and provide lunch for this curriculum-themed holiday event for seventh graders.

Eighth Grade Moving Up Dance

The eighth grade Moving Up Dance is special because it acknowledges the eighth graders’ completion of middle school. The dance, which is semi-formal, is held off campus; the eighth grade parents organize the dance, working through TPO, and TPO contributes financially.
