ORLANDO, FL (September 6, 2023) – Trinity Preparatory School of Florida announced today that it will launch its $18 million “Building for Tomorrow Campaign” in the pursuit of adding a state-of-the-art science center – the school’s largest individual construction project in school history – in anticipation of its 55th birthday.

Consistently ranked as the number one private high school in Central Florida and one of the top nationally recognized STEM schools, Trinity Prep looks to build its Nochur Sankar Science Center beginning in 2024. The Nochur Sankar Science Center will become the school’s new home on campus for all of its mathematics, science, and applied science courses. With its anticipated construction, the two-story science center will encompass 35,000 square feet and include flexible, dynamic classroom spaces, 11 science labs, six seminar rooms, maker spaces, and common areas built for inquiry and collaboration.

On the evening of September 6, Trinity Prep hosted its final parents' night reception, honoring all of its 890 students and their families whose interest and support of the “Building for Tomorrow Campaign” have helped the school reach 75% of its campaign goal. “We couldn’t be more pleased with this new science center,” said Todd Hartung, assistant head of school for external affairs. “In my new position here, I am inheriting two years of thoughtful planning and preparation. We are thrilled and honored by the support of our families who made this all possible. Our Nochur Sankar Science Center is dedicated to enhancing the student STEM Trinity Experience.” said Hartung.
