TPS Welcomes Three New Coaches

Trinity Preparatory School is pleased to announce the hiring of John Koestner as the new boys golf coach. Koestner has spent the past nine years as Director of Instruction for GolfTec in Tucson, Arizona and Orlando, Florida. He was named GolfTec Coach of the Year in 2015. Koestner has also worked as a teaching professional at Golf Academy of America in Apopka, Florida and was the head golf professional at Paul Duro Creek Golf Club in Nogales, Arizona. Koestner is a Class A PGA member and a certified Level 1 Titleist Performance Institute professional. In 2004 The Bradenton Herald voted Koestner as "Best Instructor."

Trinity Preparatory School is pleased to announce the hiring of Terri Kruczek as varsity girls volleyball coach. Kruczek will direct all aspects of the TPS volleyball program from middle school teams through varsity. She is a graduate of George Mason University and received her master's degree in education from the University of Central Florida. Kruczek has been coaching high school athletics for 30 years. Most notably, she spent 11 seasons as Lake Howell High School's girls head volleyball coach from 2003-2014. She led the Silverhawks to a 209-98 regular season record, seven regional finals, and four Final Four appearances.

Trinity Preparatory School is pleased to announce the hiring of Sara Dowdy as varsity girls and boys cross country coach. She is a graduate of the University of Colorado and received her Master's in Teaching degree from the University of Washington. Coach Dowdy has been a teacher and coach at Trinity Prep for the past 19 years. She has been the head girls cross country coach and varsity assistant track coach for the distance program for the past three years. Prior to that, she served as the head JV cross country coach, the head middle school track coach, assistant varsity cross country coach, and assistant track coach.
