Meet the College Counseling Team
Christine Grover, Director of College Counseling

Christine joined Trinity Prep in 2020 after working in education for over two decades domestically and abroad. Before discovering her passion for college counseling, she worked as a teacher, school counselor, and principal. As a lifelong learner, Christine has undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Business, a Master’s in International Counseling from Lehigh, a Post Graduate Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA, is a Nationally Certified Bullying Prevention Trainer, completed her Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Specialist Training, and is currently pursuing her Certificate in School Management & Leadership at Harvard.
Christine works side-by-side with university admission directors as a Board Member of the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling, on the ACCIS 360 Team Committee, on the Rollins Counselor Advisory Board, as a presenter at the National Association for College Admission Counseling Conference, and is also a Seasonal Reader for Northeastern University. She was humbled to have received the Rising Star Award from the International ACAC and the College Board Counselor Recognition Award.
Matthew Lisko, College Counselor

Matthew is the newest member of our team and joins us with more than 12 years of college admissions experience; Mr. Lisko most recently served as Assistant Director of International Admissions at the University of Florida.
Mr. Lisko earned a B.A. in Communications from the University of Cincinnati and a Master’s in Student Personnel Administration from Saint Louis University. As a former Division 1 football player, he regularly presents for the College Board, national, international, and regional conferences.
Maya Lupa, Associate Director of College Counseling

Maya joined TPS in 2019, bringing over a decade of experience in higher education and college counseling with progressive leadership positions in Admissions, Enrollment Management, and College Counseling.
Maya holds a Master’s in Higher Education Administration from Baruch College and a Bachelor’s in Public Affairs. As a lifelong learner, she has obtained certificates in Generative AI for Educators from Google, Inclusive Leadership from USF, and Mental Health & Wellness Certificate. Presently, Maya serves on the ACCIS Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, the NACAC Jewish SIG Leadership Team, and as a session proposal evaluator for regional and national college admissions associations (SACAC & NACAC). Maya volunteers as a Machlighters Mentor, and a SACAC Mentor, and has been a Scholarship Reader for both SACAC and the College Essay Guy. Maya completed the SACAC Leads Leadership Program in 2022.
Katherine Dunagan, College Counselor

Katie joined Trinity Prep in 2022 after working for twelve years in undergraduate admissions at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During her time there, she traveled to more than a dozen countries, collaborated with the College Board and the U.S. Department of State's EducationUSA centers worldwide on college admissions-related workshops, and coordinated the review committee for a highly competitive international student scholarship program. Additionally, she coordinated pre-reads for international Division 1 athletes and managed application appeals.
Katie is a regular presenter and member of organizations such as the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling, International ACAC, and ACCIS, and serves as a Seasonal Reader for Northeastern University. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications-Public Relations and French from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, a Master of Arts in American Studies from the University of Alabama, and a post-graduate certificate in College Advising from Teacher’s College at Columbia University.
Megan Tanis, College Counseling Assistant

Megan Tanis joined the College Counseling office in August 2022 - she has been with Trinity since 2018. Megan previously worked for the Wake Forest School of Law Admissions office and has over 25 years of work experience in various settings.
