Maya Lupa, Director of College Counseling

Maya returns to Trinity Prep for her seventh year, now serving as Director of College Counseling. She brings nearly two decades of experience across higher education and independent schools, with leadership roles in admissions, enrollment management, and college counseling. Before joining Trinity, Maya served as Director of College Guidance at a private high school in New York and worked in college admissions and student advisement at the City University of New York.
Maya holds a Master’s in Higher Education Administration and a Bachelor’s in Public Affairs from Baruch College. A lifelong learner, she has earned certificates in Exercising Leadership from Harvard, Inclusive and Ethical Leadership from USF, Generative AI for Educators from Google, and Mental Health & Wellness.
Maya is part of the Rollins College Counselor Advisory Board and on the ACCIS Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. Maya volunteers as a Machlighters Mentor and a SACAC Mentor. Maya has been a Scholarship Reader for The Gates Scholarship, SACAC, ACCIS, and the College Essay Guy.

Matthew Lisko, College Counselor

Matthew joined TPS in 2024, bringing over a decade of experience in college admissions counseling. Most recently, he served as the Assistant Director of International Admissions at the University of Florida, and prior to that, he was an admissions counselor at Saint Louis University. Matthew is excited to work with the families and students again at Trinity in 2025!
Mr. Lisko holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Cincinnati and a Master’s degree in Student Personnel Administration from Saint Louis University. A former Division I football player, he frequently presents for the College Board as well as at national, international, and regional conferences. Matthew is also a member of the football coaching staff at Trinity. Most recently, he served as an application reader for both Northeastern University and the University of California, Berkeley.

Mary Ann Torrico, College Counselor

Mary Ann joins the college counseling team with over 11 years of experience. Most recently, she served as a Counselor at Paul VI Catholic High School in Virginia. Prior to that, she was the Director of College Counseling at Oakcrest School.
Mary Ann earned her B.A. in English Literature from Duquesne University and her M.A. in Counselor Education from the University of South Florida. She has worked as an admissions reader for UCLA, published research in the Journal of School Counseling, and is a Certified College Essay Experience Coach. We look forward to the unique expertise she brings to our team to support our families.
Jennifer Laible, College Counselor

Jennifer has spent the past 34 years working as an independent educational consultant, guiding students through a wide range of academic journeys. Her practice focuses on educational advising, tutoring, test preparation, and admissions support. Jennifer has supported students applying to Ivy League and top-tier universities, as well as those navigating learning differences. Her expertise spans individual subject tutoring, standardized test preparation for high school, college, and graduate school entrance exams, and comprehensive advising through both college and graduate school application processes.
Jennifer earned her Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and her Master’s from Harvard. Her passion has always been helping students discover their path and realize their full potential.

Pamela Blackwell, College Counseling Assistant and Testing Coordinator

Pam returns to Trinity Prep for her fourth year as the new College Counseling Assistant and Testing Coordinator.
Pam had an impressive 35-year career in Human Resources with Seminole County Public Schools. During the last nineteen years with SCPS, Pam was the HR Manager for Instructional Staffing and Support Services. Pam holds a B.S. in General Studies from the University of Central Florida.
Pam joined TPS in 2022 as a Front Office Receptionist. Pam has greatly enjoyed engaging with TPS students and families in her role as receptionist and looks forward to continuing those relationships in the College Counseling Office.
