Learning without LImits
Interim Term is a unique two-week learning experience held each January following Christmas break. With the traditional schedule set aside, students have the freedom to explore interests, pursue new experiences, and learn in ways that extend beyond the regular curriculum.
Students can choose from opportunities that include independent research and project-based learning, domestic and international travel, cultural exchanges, service learning, scientific investigations, internships, career exploration, and community service. The program encourages students to follow their curiosity, make meaningful choices, and engage deeply with subjects and experiences that inspire them.
Rooted in Trinity Prep’s mission, Interim Term creates space for experiential learning, diverse perspectives, and meaningful connections between students and teachers. It is an opportunity to step outside the familiar, discover new passions, and grow in an environment where student choice, wellness, and shared learning are at the forefront.

personal & intellectual growth
Students have an opportunity to take a course for the “love of learning” and the satisfaction of a curiosity.

Relationship Building
Cultivates relationships between students and teachers in a unique environment of shared learning.

Health & Wellness
This mission-centered approach inspires learning and puts wellness at the forefront.
Learning for Fun
Learning for Life
One of the goals of Interim Term is to remind our students that learning can—and should—be enjoyable. Free from the usual pressure of grades and tests, students can try a new hobby or dive deep into a subject simply because it sparks their interest.
