A Place to Learn, Discover, and Explore
Trinity Prep’s library is a hub for research, study, and a lifelong love of reading. Students have access to more than 14,000 books, magazine and newspaper subscriptions, and 17 online databases — all available on campus or from home on any computer.
A robust, ever-evolving collection is updated nearly every week, giving students fresh opportunities to discover books they’ll enjoy reading for pleasure. Through the library’s online catalog and the free Sora app, students can also access thousands of ebooks and audiobooks, as well as digital magazines.
The library is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday during the school year, providing students with a welcoming space to read, research, study, and explore.
Research Skills for Life
Students in grades 6-12 work with the library as part of Trinity Prep’s Research Scope and Sequence, building and refining evidence-based research skills across the curriculum. Through a scaffolded approach, students develop the skills they need to ask thoughtful questions, evaluate sources, gather evidence, and conduct increasingly sophisticated research.
The library is also a place to have fun, connect, and explore. From games and contests to crafts and other activities, students have plenty of ways to enjoy the library beyond the classroom. Follow along with the latest activities on Instagram at #tpsrichlibrary.
Library Resources
Trinity Prep students and families have access to the library’s full collection of databases and online subscriptions through Canvas, our learning management system. These resources support research, learning, and exploration both in and beyond the classroom.
Students and faculty also receive individual subscriptions to leading journalism and news publications, including "The New York Times", "The Financial Times" and "The Atlantic". Together, these resources help our community stay informed, think critically, and engage with the world around them.
