Enrollment Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required upon enrollment and is applied toward annual tuition up to 10% of tuition.

Financial Aid
Trinity Prep offers a robust need-based financial aid program designed to make an independent school education accessible to families across a broad range of income levels.
For the 2026-27 school year:
- More than $3.6 million will be awarded in need-based financial aid.
- Approximately 28% of Trinity Prep students receive financial assistance.
- Financial aid awards range from a few thousand dollars to significant tuition support based on demonstrated family need.
We encourage any family who may benefit from assistance to apply. Many families are surprised to learn they qualify for aid.
Trinity Prep does NOT accept any external scholarships or state funding (such as Family Empowerment, McKay, or Step Up) and does NOT offer merit, athletic, or fine arts scholarships. All aid awarded is based solely on demonstrated financial need.

Important Deadlines
The application for Financial Aid opens September 1 for the upcoming school year. Please note the deadline to apply for Financial Aid is February 3. Applications that are received after the deadline, will be assessed for eligibility by our Financial Aid Committee, should funds be available.
Any determined awards will be based upon funds available after the deadline.

Additional fees may vary by grade and some are optional. Here are a few important ones:
- New student fee: $2,200
- Books and E-Books: $400-$600
- Field Trips for Grades 6-12th: $100-$475
- Student Dues: $145
- PE Uniform for Grades 6-9th: $30+
- Pride Pack for athletics: Varies by sport
International fees may vary. International students do not qualify for financial aid.

How do I apply for financial aid?
Families applying for financial aid should indicate their interest in assistance when completing the Admission Application and submit a financial aid application through Clarity.
The Clarity application typically opens in the fall (Sept 1) and requires financial information and supporting tax documentation (Prior Year). We encourage families to apply by the priority deadline to receive full consideration for available funds.
How is financial aid eligibility determined?
Trinity Prep uses Clarity to help assess a family's financial circumstances. Financial aid decisions are based on many factors, including household income, assets, family size, number of children in tuition-charging schools, and other financial obligations.
Each family's situation is reviewed individually, and awards are based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of financial aid funds. Families must re-apply each year.
Does applying for financial aid affect admission decisions?
Trinity Prep seeks to enroll talented and mission-appropriate students regardless of financial circumstances. Admission and financial aid are reviewed separately.
Because financial aid funding is limited, there may be situations in which the overall financial needs of the applicant pool exceed available resources. Families are encouraged to apply early and submit all required documentation by the priority deadline.
What is the financial aid application deadline?

Should I apply if I am unsure whether I will qualify?
Yes.

There is no disadvantage to applying, and submitting an application allows Trinity Prep to fully understand your family's circumstances.
If we receive financial aid this year, will we receive aid in future years?
Families must reapply for financial aid annually.
While awards often remain similar when a family's financial circumstances remain relatively unchanged, financial aid is reviewed each year based on updated financial information and the availability of funds.
What happens if our financial circumstances change after we apply?
We understand that life circumstances can change unexpectedly.
Families experiencing significant financial hardship, such as job loss, medical expenses, divorce, or other unforeseen circumstances, should contact the Financial Aid Office as soon as possible. We will review the situation and determine whether additional documentation or reconsideration is appropriate.
Does Trinity Prep offer merit scholarships?
No.
Trinity Prep awards financial aid based solely on demonstrated financial need. We do not offer academic, athletic, artistic, or merit-based scholarships.
Do international students qualify for financial aid?
No.
Students requiring an F-1 student visa are not eligible for need-based financial aid and are responsible for full tuition and associated fees. Verification of funds is required as part of the enrollment process.
In cases of divorce or separation, are both parents required to provide financial information?
Generally, yes.
Trinity Prep expects both biological or legal parents to contribute to their child's education to the extent they are able. Financial information from both households may be required during the financial aid review process.
Families with unique circumstances should contact the Financial Aid Office directly.
What if my tax return has not yet been completed?
Families should submit all available financial documentation by the deadline and notify the Financial Aid Office regarding the status of any pending tax filings.
Financial aid decisions cannot be finalized until the required tax documentation has been received and verified.
