Brian Gold '05
Brian D. Gold, AEA Stage Manager, graduated from Trinity Preparatory School in 2002 after attending from 6-12th grade. He moved to Boston to attend Emerson College in 2002 and graduated with a BFA in Production/Stage in 2006. After working on Broadway, Off-Broadway, Regionally, and on National Tours for 10 plus years, he made a career change. Brian currently teaches special education to over aged and under credited students at Innovation Diploma Plus High School in New York City. Here are highlights of his career so far: Broadway: An Act of God (starring Jim Parsons), The Phantom of the Opera, Hair: Summer of Love, The Normal Heart (Tony Winner Best Revival), Pal Joey, 9 to 5: the musical (starring Allison Janney). National Tours: Billy Elliot the Musical, Seussical, Peter Pan. Off-Broadway/Regional: Insatiable Hunger (starring Lea DeLaria), Shatter, Honky, Autumn’s Harvest (LCT), Forbidden Broadway Goes to Rehab, Forbidden Broadway Dances with the Stars, Twelfth Night (starring Anne Hathaway and Audra McDonald), King Lear (starring Kevin Kline), The Whale (ATF), 2 seasons at Weathervane Theatre in NH (including Annie, Miss Saigon, Floyd Collins, The Full Monty, Into the Woods, and more). Workshops/Readings: Leap of Faith: the musical, The Nutty Professor (directed by Jerry Lewis), Flashdance: the musical, Old Jews Telling Jokes, The Lost Boy. Brian would have never been so successful in his stage management career if it weren’t for the ongoing support from Janine Papin and the Trinity family. He thanks his mom, Marcey, his wife, Heather, and his dog, Buoy, for their ongoing support. Brian continues to dedicate his work to his brother Eric Gold, R.I.P. 1/20/08 and his father Randy Gold, R.I.P. 7/1/13.
