Bruce Harris '86
Bruce Harris was a four-year letterman in football on both offense and defense, and he was named to the All-State offensive team as a fullback and All-State defensive team as a linebacker in 1985.
He was selected to the All-County Team in 1985 and All-Conference Team in 1983, 1984, and 1985. Bruce was Trinity Prep's first recipient of the Orlando Sentinel Golden Helmet Award in 1985 and served as team captain in 1983, 1984, and 1985. He received the Coaches Award in 1983, the Iron Man Award in 1984, and MVP Award in 1985. Bruce's leadership, work ethic, and attitude were respected and admired by all who played with him, coached him, or played against him. He continued his football career at the United States Naval Academy as a member of the lightweight football team his freshman and sophomore years and was an honorable mention All-League offensive lineman as a sophomore.
