Donnie McCammon '98

Donnie McCammon earned six varsity letters in cross-country and five varsity letters in track. In cross-country, he earned All-State honors in 1995, 1996, and 1997, All-County honors in 1994, 1995, 1996, and 1997, and helped lead the team to the 1996 state championship. As a member of the track team, he was the 1998 state champion in the two-mile, setting a state record with a time of 9:46.50. He earned All-State and All-County honors in track in 1997 and 1998.

Donnie was named Trinity Prep's Male Athlete of the Year and Letterman of the Year in 1998. He continued his athletic achievements at the University of Kentucky as a member of the cross-country, indoor track, and outdoor track teams, receiving the Southeastern Conference Dean's List award for achieving a 4.0 GPA.
