Lawrence Golomb '89
Lawrence Golomb graduated from Trinity Prep in 1989 with letters in tennis every year from 1984 to 1989. He was on the varsity tennis team as a 7th grader and played line five his first year. He then played line one every subsequent year until graduation, losing only three regular season matches over six years. He was named to the All Orange County tennis team in 1988 and 1989 and MVP in boys tennis at Trinity Prep in 1988. He won six district first-place titles in singles and doubles and three second-place titles.
Lawrence especially remembers his coach, Bob Fulmer, and the camaraderie among his teammates. He attended the University of Alabama on a full tennis scholarship. Later, he graduated from UCF and has worked in pharmaceutical sales for 21 years, currently for Novartis Pharmaceuticals. He, his wife, and their two children live in Alpharetta, Georgia. He still enjoys competing in tennis leagues in Atlanta, going to the gym, and running.
