Norbert Seals '77
Norbert Seals earned a total of nine varsity letters as a member of the football, basketball, and track teams. He was a three-year starter in football, earning All-County and All-State honors in 1975 and 1976. Norbert was Central Florida’s leading rusher as a junior, amassing 1,543 yards and rushing for more than 1,100 yards in an injury-shortened senior season, with a 188 yards- per-game average. He was selected as the team’s most valuable player in his junior and senior years. Norbert was a versatile student-athlete who, in addition to starting for the football team, earned two varsity letters in basketball and four in track, where he was the 1977 district and region champion in the 220 dash. He served as student body and Spanish Club president, served as an intern in Washington, D.C., and was a lead actor in many plays. He continued his athletic achievements at Harvard University as a member of their freshman football team, gaining over 100 yards in 14 carries.
