Paul M. McNulty '80
Paul M. McNulty was a member of the cross-country and track teams. As a track athlete, Paul was a seven-time state champion, including three consecutive wins in the mile from 1978 to 1980. He won three races at the state meet in 1979. Paul was the Class 1A track athlete of the year in 1979. He was also Trinity Prep’s scholar-athlete of the year in 1979. He set school records in the two-mile, mile, 880, and 1500-meter races. Paul was the captain for the cross-country and track teams in his senior year. In cross-country, he finished in the top five in the state meet on multiple occasions.
He continued his running career at Harvard University, lettering in cross-country, indoor track, and outdoor track. In 1982, he earned the Don French MVP award for the Harvard cross-country team, and in 1983, Paul was the captain of the cross-country team and a member of the All-Ivy track team.
