Richard Milliman '83
Richard Milliman earned a total of 14 varsity letters as a member of the football, soccer, basketball, baseball, and track teams. He was the senior class and student council president and the recipient of the Florence M. Rockwood Friendship Award.
Richard was a four-year two-way starter on the football team, playing running back, quarterback, and defensive back. He rushed for over 1,000 yards in 1981 and for over 3,000 yards in his career. Richard won MVP awards in 1981 and 1982, earned All-County and All-State honors in 1982, and was the team captain in 1981 and 1982.
A versatile athlete, Richard earned two varsity letters in soccer, one in basketball, two in track, and five in baseball, where he helped lead the team to district championships in 1979, 1981, and 1983. He was selected to the All-County baseball team in 1982 and 1983 and had a career batting average of over .400.
