Michelle Dillingham Waugh '08

Michelle Dillingham Waugh played soccer for Trinity Prep her junior and senior years of high school after transferring from Winter Park High School. In her junior year, she was the starting forward and the leading scorer on the soccer team. In her senior year, she was the starting goalkeeper. In 2007 the team made it to the District and Regional Finals, and in 2008 they made it to District Finals and Regional Semi-Finals. Michelle played in the 2008 Orange v. Seminole County All-Star Game and was voted Most Valuable Player for Trinity Prep her senior year. 

Michelle attended Rollins College, where she played four years of soccer and one year of lacrosse. She started 74 of 76 games during her college soccer career. In 2008 and 2009 the Rollins Women’s Soccer team won the Conference Championships, including the program's first ever in 2008. In 2010 the team won the Conference Tournament Championship. In 2012 her lacrosse team was the NCAA National Semi-Finalist. Michelle had four straight NCAA tournament appearances. She was named four-time All-Conference Player, three-time All-South Region Player, NCAA Division II All-American, and 2011 Conference Defensive Player of the Year, and she was the 2011 Rollins Women's Soccer Most Valuable Player. She was also named to the 2010-2019 Conference All-Decade First Team. Michelle graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2012. 

Michelle holds the following Rollins College school records: Single Season Shutouts (14), Single Season Goals Against Average (.41), Goals Against Average by a Freshman (.55), Career Shutouts (39), and Career Goals Against Average (.57). In 2025, Michelle was a Rollins College Athletic Hall of Fame Inductee.

Michelle graduated with a Master of Science in Sport Administration from Winthrop University in 2014. She and her husband live in Jacksonville, where Michelle is the head coach of Girls Varsity Soccer at the Providence School of Jacksonville.
