Boys Varsity Weightlifting is a strong program that has been very competitive over the years. Started in the 2006 season with just 12 athletes, the team now tops out around 25. Although competition includes just the two lifts of the bench and clean & jerk, the team focuses on strengthening all muscles groups and seeing lifting as part of a life-long healthy lifestyle as well as beneficial to multiple sport athletes. Competing schools including Bishop Moore H.S., The First Academy, Windermere Prep, Lake Mary Prep, Lake Highland Prep, Jones H.S. Foundation Academy, Warner Christian Academy, and Orangewood Christian. Trinity's competition may be tough, but the team holds its own and has qualified for post-season lifting for several years.
