Chess Potential teaches children how to use chess to enhance their cognitive and emotional abilities. Aryam Abreu is a chess Grandmaster and has been coaching for over twenty years. He has worked with professional players such as Leinier Dominguez, who plays for the US national chess team. He was also the Captain/Coach of Cuba’s national chess team. In the USA, he has been coaching children in schools for over seven years. Class is 90 minutes. Chess helps with: Cognitive development Critical thinking and problem-solving Character improvement and more. This class is taught by chess grandmaster Aryam Abreu.

Learn how to combine traditional art materials with unexpected elements to create your pieces. We'll explore various themes and concepts, encouraging you to develop your own artistic style. Both beginner and experienced artists are welcome!

Expressive Dance is designed for students who wish to express and communicate emotions, ideas, and stories through movement. Students will use their bodies, facial expressions, and spatial awareness to explore their emotions, build self-confidence, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves.

No dance experience is necessary just bring your friends, wear comfortable clothing, and enjoy a time of dance and music.

Leslie Scott received an undergraduate degree with a minor in dance and her masters degree in Exercise Physiology and Wellness. She has taught dance in the central Florida area for over 25 years and enjoys working with youth Her love for dance and creativity is imparted to those she teaches.

This dance class is for all levels, but especially for those wanting to build on their dancing skills. Come and work on your strength, balance, turns, leaps, and have fun dancing! This 60 minute class is taught by Fine Arts Teacher Janine Papin.

In this class, students will explore the art of photography and videography using the lens of their camera phone. The course focuses on capturing images and video with mobile devices, while introducing key concepts such as composition, lighting, editing apps, and storytelling techniques. This is a beginner-level class, so come explore and create with us!

Join us for a beginner-friendly ceramics class focused on fall themes. You'll learn essential hand-building techniques to create decorative and functional pieces like pumpkins, leaves, and acorns. This class is designed for anyone interested in exploring clay and making seasonal art. No prior experience is needed.

This class is taught by Trinity Prep Fine Arts Instructor Vadim Malkin.

If you are looking for a little healthy competition after school, this class is for you. This class will be open to students in 6th through 9th grade. We will be participating in ultimate Frisbee, basketball on the outdoor courts, and flag football during this 9-week course. Come out, we will divide into teams and play. This class will meet on Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:00 PM.

Please note the class won’t meet on Thursday, September 11th because of the 8th-grade field trip, but will continue the week after until we have met nine times.
