Liza Luxenberg '05

Liza Luxenberg has been a member of Aurora Productions since 2009. Aurora provides production management and technical supervision for commercial and non-profit theatre on Broadway, Off-Broadway and throughout the world.

Since 1993, Aurora has supervised over 200 Broadway and Off Broadway shows, associated tours, and international productions in London's West End, Europe and Australia. Aurora’s role is to supply a show’s creative team and production staff with the best possible tools and support to realize their goals, while also providing the general managers and producers with the most efficient and fiscally responsible methods to do so.

Luxenberg joined Aurora shortly after graduating from Indiana University where she double majored in Theatre and with an Individualized Major Program in Stage Management.  Her favorite credits at Aurora include supervision for the Tony Award-winning Broadway productions of Red, Jerusalem, Matilda the Musical (also 1st National Tour), Hello, Dolly! (also 1st national tour), as well as Sister Act The Musical, Bullets Over Broadway, School of Rock, Shuffle Along, Mean Girls, and this season’s To Kill A Mockingbird.

She was interviewed for a production management handbook called The Production Manager’s Toolkit, and has guest lectured for Indiana University, The University of Maryland, New York University, and Columbia University.
