Shellie Elliott '91

Shellie Elliott was a three-sport standout in football, soccer, and baseball, earning 11 varsity letters. Shellie was a three-year starter for the football team as a running back and defensive back, earning All-State, All-County, and All-Conference honors in 1990. He was also the recipient of the Orlando Sentinel Golden Helmet Award in 1990 and was named the team's offensive MVP. In soccer, Shellie earned All-Conference honors in 1990 and 1991 as a forward and was a four-year starter on the varsity team. Shellie was a four-year starter for the baseball team and was the first player from Trinity Prep selected to play in the High School Senior All-Star Game. He was named to the All-County team in 1991 and the All-Conference team in 1990 and 1991. Shellie was captain of the football, soccer, and baseball teams his senior year. He was the recipient of the George Austin Memorial Award in 1990, and in 1991, he was named Trinity Prep's Male Athlete of the Year.
