John L. Evans Jr. '85

John L. Evans, Jr. was a member of the basketball and baseball teams. John was a three-year starter for the baseball team and named to the All County team his senior year. He pitched a perfect game as a sophomore and led Orange County in batting averages his senior year. In basketball, John was a two-year letterman, earning All- County and All-State honors his senior year. He was selected as the MVP and was named to Who's Who in Florida high school basketball in 1985. During his senior season, John finished second in Orange County in points scored and rebounds.
